Continued: Reusse: Backers going to bat for town-ball hero Driscoll

It is known in state tourney lore all these years later as the Holy-Ta-Moley Homer.

Anyone who played town-team baseball with excellence for decades — and has a home run named after him — belongs in the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame.

I also know my friend Augie would welcome Driscoll as a Hall sidekick, since they sure as heck had a beer together after a game at a ball field somewhere in Minnesota.
