The workout schedule today will be altered for the second straight day, this for two reasons. One, it's wet outside from all the rain yesterday. Two, the Twins have their annual charity golf tournament that raises money for cancer care in the area.

The clubhouse is packed. Most of the position players have arrived. Justin Morneau has not been seen, but he warned that he was going to stay in Arizona as late as possible before heading for Florida. And Deibinson Romero's arrival is delayed indefinitely because of visa issues.

Josh Willingham met with the scribes this morning. He approves of the offseason moves the club made and thinks the offense can be dangerous if they find table-setters for the top of the order.

Willingham reached career highs in home runs (35) and RBI (110) last season. He was asked about setting the bar high in 2013.

``If I don't hit 50 this year, I'm going home," he joked before adding, ``I've never hit that many home runs before or driven in that many runs before. A lot of it had to do with some guys at the top of the order."

It makes you wonder if the Twins will move Joe Mauer, Mr. On Base Machine, higher in the order this year. We'll see.

Etc.

If Rafael Perez makes the team, he will earn $1.2 million in 2013.

Word is that Justin Morneau has arrived in Fort Myers.

And join Phil Miller for a Live Chat at noon today.
