With the departure of Torii Hunter, the Twins needed a center fielder. Two possible replacements were the Mets' Carlos Gomez and the Red Sox's Jacoby Ellsbury. The Twins received Gomez in the Johan Santana deal; Ellsbury stayed with the Red Sox, who make their first and only appearance at the Metrodome this season tonight through Monday. Here's how Gomez and Ellsbury have fared so far this season:
