TWINS UPDATE

Josh Willingham didn't play Sunday because of a sore hamstring. The Twins were idle Monday, and Willingham is expected to return to action Tuesday. ... Chris Herrmann made his major league debut Sunday, grounding out in his only at-bat. There's a chance he could start a game during the series. ... The Twins are 10-5 against Cleveland and already have clinched the season series. The Twins have won the season series against Cleveland in four of the past five years.

INDIANS UPDATE

Cleveland has lost seven of its past nine games, but came back Sunday to beat Detroit on Lonnie Chisenhall's bases-loaded single. If Detroit doesn't make the playoffs, it's Cleveland's fault. The Indians went 10-8 against Tigers this season. ... David Huff is getting another chance to start after replacing the ineffective Jeanmar Gomez in the rotation. ... Outfielder Michael Brantley (strained pectoral) returned to the lineup Sunday after missing three games.
