How long the team has been affiliated with the Twins: 1974
Notable seasons by alums: Kirby Puckett hit .382 with 15 doubles, 35 RBI and 43 stolen bases in 1982; Joe Mauer made his professional debut in 2001, hitting .400 in 32 games. In 2011, Eddie Rosario hit .337 with 21 home runs, 60 RBI, 71 runs scored and a .670 slugging percentage.

About the ballpark: Joe O'Brien Field, with a capacity of about 2,000, sits on the bank of the Watauga River with a perfect view of the Appalachian Mountains. Posters of notable former players hang throughout the stadium. Fans leave their chairs in their spot overnight.
About the town: Elizabethton has 14,000 residents and is located in the Appalachian chain. The town was founded in 1799 and occupies about nine square miles.
