Mark Appel, RHP, Stanford: Has a mid-90s fastball and sharp slider. Starting to pile up the strikeouts.
Byron Buxton, OF, Appling County High, Baxley, Ga: He's fast and projects to be a center fielder who hits for average and, hopefully, power.
Deven Marrero, SS, Arizona State: A solid player across the board with excellent defensive skills.
Kyle Zimmer, RHP, University of San Francisco: Has elbowed his way into elite status with a mid-90s fastball and a good curveball.
Mike Zunino, C, University of Florida: Leads the Gators in most offensive categories and is strong behind the plate.
