TWINS UPDATE

Boof Bonser already has been dropped from the rotation, and this could be a big start for Garza, who has an 8.10 ERA in his past four starts. The Twins are 26-36 against the AL Central and 5-7 against Detroit with six games left.

TIGERS UPDATE

Magglio Ordonez is having an MVP season, though it's overshadowed by the one Alex Rodriguez is having for the Yankees. With 132 RBI, Ordonez could become the first Tiger to reach 140 since Hank Greenberg drove in 150 in 1940.
