The Twins have split six games with the Angels, each team winning two of three at its home park. ... Rondell White will be in the lineup tonight because he's batting .391 with two homers and five RBI against Escobar. ... Once Tommy Watkins makes his debut, he will become the 14th player from Class AAA Rochester to play for the Twins this season.

ANGELS UPDATE

The Angels have the second-fewest homers in the majors but rank No. 2 in stolen bases. They also entered Thursday with the best home record in the majors at 37-17. ... Catcher Mike Napoli, who is batting .529 against the Twins this season, is on the disabled list because of a hamstring strain.
