Last update: March 17, 2007 - 6:47 PM

BRADENTON, FLA. - Boof Bonser tossed four shutout innings, and Torii Hunter and Justin Morneau hit two-run homers as the Twins defeated Pittsburgh 7-3 Saturday at McKechnie Field.

The Twins, who have won seven of their past eight spring games, continue to get strong pitching. In their past 13 games, their starters have posted a 1.05 ERA.

Bonser has an 11-inning scoreless streak since he was torched for three runs against Cincinnati in his spring debut. He lowered his ERA to 2.25.

"We want him to continue trying to earn a job," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "We want him on a mission, and he is. He understands."

Scott Baker also chipped in two scoreless innings of relief for the Twins.
