Jason Bartlett reached on an infield single, scoring Hunter. Kansas City: Twins starter Mike Smith walked Ryan Shealy. Paul Bako reached on an infield single, Shealy advanced to second. Angel Berroa popped out to catcher Mike Redmond. Joey Gathright reached on a fielder's choice to second, Shealy advanced to third, Bako was out at second. David DeJesus singled to left, scoring Shealy. Twins 1, Royals 1
