TWINS UPDATE

The Twins are 5-10 against the Tigers this season but have won four of six games played at Comerica Park. ... Reliever Pat Neshek, shut down for the rest of the season because of a tired arm and inflamed ligament in his elbow, won't travel with the team so he can rehabilitate in the Twin Cities. ... Justin Morneau is batting .298 with four homers and 11 RBI against the Tigers this season.

TIGERS UPDATE

Although the Tigers are out of it, all eyes this week will be on Magglio Ordonez, who entered Sunday leading the AL in hitting with a .358 batting average. Ordonez has matched a career high with 207 hits and is batting .314 with three homers and 12 RBI against the Twins this season, the highest of any Tigers regular. ... Nate Robertson is 2-0 with a 2.14 ERA against the Twins this season.
