Everywhere I go, people ask me about The Dog. That's the Millea family weiner dog, who has become the snarling, growling star of the videos I record in my basement at the end of a day of football games.

As GameFaceMn video viewers know, the mutt is not happy being on camera (unless I bribe him with snacks). But his fame has spread far and wide. I received an email from a fan of the Wayzata football team today, offering a wager of sorts.

Here's the deal: if Wayzata beats Eden Prairie in the Class 5A quarterfinals Friday night at the Metrodome, the weiner dog will wear a blue and gold (yes, those are Wayzata's colors) "outfit" in that night's video. The Wayzata fan owns or has purchased some type of doggie clothing, which will apparently be tossed to me in the press box on Friday night.

If there is a next move in this canine drama, it belongs to Eden Prairie. The dog already wears EP colors on a daily basis (he's black and has a red collar), but if any enterprising Eden Prairie football fans want to match the Wayzata wager, I will be in the Dome press box on Friday as a representative of the weiner dog.

More updates on this vital topic will follow, as needed ... woof.
