Totino-Grace won the Class 4A, Section 6 championship behind running back John Crockett's five TDs.
SECTION 6
• TOTINO-GRACE 42, BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S 28: John Crockett was awfully good all night for the Eagles (10-0), but he still managed to save his best for last.
The senior running back, who ran for 319 yards on 23 carries and five touchdowns, broke loose for a 62-yard touchdown run with about 2 minutes remaining, breaking a 28-28 tie and lifting Totino-Grace over the Red Knights (8-3) on Friday night in Fridley.
He added an insurance touchdown of 78 yards following an interception. Crockett also scored on runs on 1, 7 and 63 yards to give Totino-Grace a 21-0 lead.
However, Benilde-St. Margaret's rallied from that deficit to tie it twice (at 21 and 28) in the fourth quarter.
SECTION 1
• NORTHFIELD 23, NEW PRAGUE 0: The Raiders (8-2) turned in a stellar performance on defense, shutting out the Trojans (8-3). Senior running back/linebacker Luke Reppe was outstanding on both sides of the ball for Northfield. He had 10 tackles and also scored on a 73-yard run. Senior defensive end Alex Bisch had seven tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and forced a safety for Northfield, which was state tournament runner-up to Mankato West a year ago.

• MANKATO WEST 13, HUTCHINSON 7: The Scarlets (10-0) will have a chance to defend their state championship after edging the Tigers (9-2). Mankato West has won the championship three times in the past 11 years, also winning the crown in 1999 and 2002.

• MAHTOMEDI 22, HILL-MURRAY 14: The Zephyrs (10-1) shut out Hill-Murray in the second half, rallying for the section title. Sophomore Kyle Thell scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter, giving Mahtomedi the lead for good at 15-14.

• LAKEVILLE NORTH 28, OWATONNA 18: Senior running back Dajon Newell ran wild as the Panthers (9-2) defeated the Huskies (7-4). Newell ran for 310 yards on 25 carries and all four touchdowns in the 10-point victory. He scored on runs of 60, 41, 40 and 58 yards.

• CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 30, HENRY SIBLEY 0: The Raiders find themselves in familiar territory. Cretin-Derham Hall (9-1) won its section title for the 19th time in the past 20 years, shutting out Henry Sibley (8-3). The Raiders defense gave up only 95 yards in a dominating performance. Seniors quarterback Mark Alt and wide receiver Elliott Owusu teamed up for the first two touchdowns, pass plays of 4 and 53 yards.
SECTION 5
• WAYZATA 21, CHAMPLIN PARK 7: The Trojans' defense has been outstanding all season, and was once again against the Rebels (6-4). Senior defensive back Daryl Brown had two of Wayzata's three interceptions, while Champlin Park senior running back Brandon Marquardt was limited to 53 yards on 20 carries. Senior running back Chris Kroeten ran for 90 yards on 24 carries and one score for the Trojans. Teammate senior A.J. Tarpley caught three passes for 92 yards and one touchdown. He also had seven tackles and 1.5 sacks.
SECTION 3
• GLENCOE-SILVER LAKE 44, FAIRMONT 14: The Cardinals (8-3) didn't have an answer for the Panthers' punishing ground attack. Seniors halfback Aaron Lueders rushed for 113 yards on 18 carries and five touchdowns, scoring on runs of 4, 12, 15, 1 and 2 yards, while fullback Ryan Style added 163 yards on 23 carries.
SECTION 4
• DELASALLE 48, ST. CROIX LUTHERAN 21: Evan Williams rushed for 281 yards on 22 carries and five touchdowns and Reggie Gandy added 123 yards on nine carries and three touchdowns, lifting the Islanders over the Crusaders.
