We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Other games to keep an eye on

Pipestone vs. Jackson County Central, 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 25. This is a must-win for Pipestone's Big South Conference West Division title hopes, as the Arrows (13-6, 1-2) face league-leader Jackson County Central (10-0, 4-0). Pipestone, Jackson County Central, Marshall and Windom have all finished near the top of the conference standings the last few years, and this season is shaping up to be no different.

Hutchinson vs. Mayer Lutheran, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 25. At 10-6, Hutchinson hasn’t quite found consistency or a signature win. A victory at No. 2-1A Mayer Lutheran (11-5) could help the Tigers (10-6) with the latter.

Annandale vs. Litchfield, 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27. It’s early in the league season for Annandale (11-3, 2-0) and Litchfield (10-6 and 1-1), but Thursday's match is still important for sorting out the final order in the Wright County Conference West Division standings.
