Sam Bazil capped a second half comeback with his second goal of the game in overtime to give Orono a 4-3 victory over host Rockford in boys' soccer. The junior also scored in the second half to tie the score.

The Rockets had three separate one-goal leads throughout the game, including a 2-1 advantage at halftime. Fabian Tamayo, Blake Young and Miguel Ibarra scored for the Rockets, and Lucas Robinson stopped 11 shots for the Rockets.

Cole Watterson and Paul Sanford scored tying goals for the Spartans. Jackson Burgess stopped eight shots, including a few in the final minutes of the second overtime.

Bloomington Jefferson 3, Benilde-St. Margaret's 1: Ben Werner scored three goals to lead the Jaguars past the visiting the Knights.

Girls' soccer

Bloomington Jefferson 1, Benilde-St. Margaret's 0: Sofia Peraza stopped 11 shots to lead the Jaguars past the visiting Knights. Jasmine Jackson scored in the first half for the Jaguars.

Maple Grove 4, Park Center 0: Meredith Haakenson scored three goals to lead the Crimson past the Pirates. Brenna Saladin scored a goal and Sarah Cortez recorded the shutout for the Crimson.

South St. Paul 5, Simley 1: Roxy Veldman scored two goals to lead the Packers past the host Spartans. Kim Skwira, Emma Arme and Clair Lehmann scored a goal each and Mae Shannon stopped 10 shots for the Packers.

Armstrong 5, Elk River 0: Carly Krsul and Julia Osborne scored two goals each to lead the Eagles past the visiting Elks. Kaitsy Baker scored a goal and Ana Aguad stopped three shots for the Eagles.

Chaska 10, Richfield 0: Payton Schultz scored three goals to lead the Hawks past the visiting Spartans. Mara Halvorson had two goals for the Hawks.

Volleyball

North Branch 3, St. Francis 0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-14): Cianna Selbitschka led the Vikings past the host Saints with 24 kills and 20 digs. Katelyn Berg had 10 digs and four kills and Lydia Langevin had nine kills and five blocks for the Vikings.

Boys' cross-country

Private School Championship: Nova Classical Academy won the 5-kilometer race at St. Kate's University with 43 points. Chris Norton led the Nova Knights with a third-place finish. Mounds Park Academy senior Declan Dahlberg was the medalist with a time of 16:25. Math and Science sophomore Harris Anderson was second and senior Jack Osborne finished fifth. Holy Angels sophomore Jack Peschel finished fourth.

Girls' cross-country

Private School Championship: Visitation won the 5-kilometer race at St. Kate's University with 27 points. The Blazers had five of the top 10 finishers. Freshman Margaret Dalseth was the medalist with a time of 19:56. St. Paul Academy's senior Flann Enneking-Norton and sophomore Maddy Breton finished second and third, respectively. Visitation's sophomore Sadie Grunau and senior Marykate Schoonover rounded out the top five.
