Q The best movie you've seen in the last year?

A "Interstellar."

Q Three words your friends or teammates would use to describe you are …

A … funny, determined, and loyal.

Q Three songs I never skip on my iPod are …

A … "Leave the Night On" by Sam Hunt; "Classic" by MKTO, and "Trumpets" by Jason Derulo.

Q What is your most memorable moment as a high school athlete?

A Playing in front of a packed Xcel Center at the Class 2A hockey state tournament.

Q At my first varsity practice, I felt …

A … nervous and really excited.

Q What are your goals for the hockey season?

A Make it back to the state tournament.

Q If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be?

A Everybody has to stay for their senior year in hockey.

Q Name one sport you wish you could participate in that you don't?

A Baseball because many of my good friends play.

Q How do you balance school and sports during the year?

A I have to sacrifice some free time with friends to get all my homework done.

Q Do you have a secret talent, and if so, what is it?

A I can play the saxophone.

Q What is the best sports advice you ever received?

A Everyone has the same amount of time. It's what you do with the time that makes the difference.

Q With the new year right around the corner, what is your New Year's resolution?

A To vacuum my room once a week.
