Continued: Prep athletes of the week

HALEY KAUTH

Roseville • Volleyball

There is a place for short players in volleyball, as the 5-4 sophomore libero showed last week. In victories over Stillwater and Mounds View, Kauth averaged an impressive 5.6 digs per game. She has more than 1,500 digs in her career.

DEVIN LEHMAN

Belle Plaine • Volleyball

The Minnesota River Conference-leading Tigers improved 17-3 overall with victories over New Prague and Tri-City United. The senior setter had 95 assists in the two matches, giving her a metro-leading 630 on the season.

ZACH VIEAU

Becker • Soccer

In three victories last week, the senior forward scored four goals and added three assists. Vieau has been a varsity player for only two seasons but already has 26 goals, the most in team history.
