• PARK OF COTTAGE GROVE 7, LAKEVILLE SOUTH 1: Sam Hildebrandt continued to pound the long ball, hitting a grand slam in the fifth inning to help the No. 2-seeded Wolfpack defeat the Cougars in second-round play. The senior pitcher/first baseman has 13 homers on the season.
• BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 8, EASTVIEW 0: Senior pitcher Sam McGee tossed a one-hitter, striking out 12, as the No. 3-seeded Jaguars advanced in a winners' bracket game.
• EAGAN 1, BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 0: Sara Moulton was dominant on the pitching mound once again, throwing a two-hitter and striking out 14, as the top-seeded Wildcats advanced to the third round.
• EDEN PRAIRIE 17, DELANO 2 (6 INN.): The Eagles set a season-high for runs scored, thanks in large part the bat of Brett Thornley. The senior catcher hit two-run and three-run homers, giving him five RBI for the game. Eden Prairie used six different pitchers in the game.
• MINNETONKA 5, NORTHFIELD 4: Alex Satterfield's two-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning scored Matt Norring from first base with the game-winning run.
• EAGAN 4, HENRY SIBLEY 3:
The No. 2-seeded Wildcats won three of four singles matches and pulled out a victory at No. 2 doubles to defeat top-seeded Henry Sibley in the Class 2A, Section 3 championship match. Justin Abrams, Grant Ribar and A.J. Lujovsky were the singles' winners for Eagan.
• MOUNDS VIEW 6, COON RAPIDS 1: The No. 1-ranked Mustangs advanced to the 2A state tournament for the seventh year in a row with a convincing victory. Wyatt McCoy, David Croonquist, Chase Krebsbach and Tucker Morris all won in straight sets at singles, as did the doubles teams of Ron Towne and Justin Anderson and Max Schaper and Spencer Wise.
• CLASS 1A, SECTION 4: Meadow Creek Christian shot a team score of 634 to win the two-day meet at Goodrich Golf Course and advance to the state tournament for the first time in school history. Freshman Andrew Peterson led the Saints with a two-round, 10-over-par score of 150. Mounds Park Academy's Will Lage was the meet medalist with a score of 147.
