• OSSEO 3, MAPLE GROVE 0: Maple Grove, ranked No. 1 in both the state coaches association and the Star Tribune Metro baseball rankings, lost for the first time this season Monday. Osseo's Kevin Kray shut down the Crimson on one hit, striking out eight and facing only two batters over the minimum for seven innings. Tyler Reuben connected on a two-run homer in the fourth inning. Maple Grove fell to 12-1 overall and in the Northwest Suburban Conference. Osseo improved to 10-4, 8-4 in the conference.
• EASTVIEW 7, BURNSVILLE 0: Nick Dolsky and George Jensen combined on a no-hitter for the Lightning. Dolsky, a junior, pitched the first six innings, striking out 13; Jensen pitched a hitless seventh inning. Erik Fabry went 3-for-3 and drove in a run for Eastview (10-1).
• COON RAPIDS 11, ANDOVER 1: Ryan Hable pitched a three-hitter, and catcher Mike Latta continued his torrid hitting, going 3-for-4 to improve his average to .516. Latta is hitting .777 (7-for-9) in his past three games.
• CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 7, FOREST LAKE 1: After losing two of their first four games, the Raiders are warming up. They won their fifth game in a row, thanks largely to a pair of home runs. David Bettenburg went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, and Max Gregory hit a three-run shot.
• MINNEAPOLIS EDISON 14, MINNEAPOLIS ROOSEVELT 0: Adrian Waters did a little bit of everything, pitching a complete game no-hitter with 13 strikeouts, and going 3-for-4 at the plate for the Tommies.
• MINNEAPOLIS SOUTHWEST 10, MINNEAPOLIS WASHBURN 2: The Lakers remained undefeated (13-0) with a convincing victory. Pitcher John Licht improved his record to 3-0 this season, throwing 6 1/3 innings and striking out five.
• LAKEVILLE NORTH 2, APPLE VALLEY 0: The Panthers, fresh from winning the Mounds View tournament over the weekend, extended their winning streak to six games. Erika Sorenson pitched a no-hitter with four strikeouts, and Alyssa Neitzke drove in both runs with a two-out single in the bottom of the third inning.
• BIG LAKE 1, BECKER 0: The Hornets won the battle of undefeated teams in the Mississippi 8 Conference. Big Lake pitcher Chelsea Erickson tossed a two-hitter, striking out 15.
• WOODBURY 2, PARK OF COTTAGE GROVE 1: Park has lost only two games this season, but both have been to Woodbury. On Monday, it was a bases-loaded, one-out single by Jess Moore in the bottom of the seventh that scored the game-winning run for the Royals.
• ST. BERNARD'S 8, ST. AGNES 1: The Bulldogs blew open a tie games with seven runs in the top of the seventh inning and improved their record to 12-1, 8-1 in the Tri-Metro. The big blow was Kelsey Biglow's bases-loaded doubles that drove in three runs. Kia Johnson pitched a complete game, giving up five hits and striking out 10, for St. Bernard's.
• HOPKINS 2, NEW LIFE ACADEMY 0: Hopkins handed the Eagles only their second loss of the season. Royals pitcher Jenna Peterson got the victory, giving up 11 hits but striking out 10 batters.
• WAYZATA 4, EDINA 2 (13 innings): Kelsey Durocher hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the 13th inning as Wayzata rallied for the victory. Edina had taken a 2-1 lead with a run in the top of the 13th.
• ELK RIVER 10, ANOKA 0: Jamie Klein threw her fifth shutout of the season, giving up two hits and striking out nine. Katyla Boward collected three hits, including her first home run this season, and Danni Skrove, C.J. Rice and Hannah Sweet had two hits each for Elk River.
