Senior quarterback Zach Creighton guided Lakeville North to a share of the South Suburban Conference football title, and now has the Panthers headed to the Class 6A state tournament.

Creighton also plays basketball and baseball for the Panthers. Here is a closer look at Creighton:

The best movie I've seen in the last year? "The Dark Knight Rises."

Three words or phrases my friends or teammates might use to describe me? Funny; passionate; determined.

Three songs I never skip on my iPod are ... I like all kinds of music. I have everything from rap music to country on my iPod.

What are your three favorite apps? Twitter; hudl; Bubble Burst.

Who do you like to follow the most on Twitter, and why? Tom Crabtree from the Green Bay Packers because his tweets are extremely funny and he is the tight end of my favorite NFL team.

How did you get started playing sports? I have been playing all three of my sports since I was able to pick up a ball, and they have just stuck with me since.

At my first varsity practice, I felt ... excited to show the upperclassmen what type of player I was, and to impress the coaches.

What did you work on in the offseason? Getting faster, and stronger as well as improving on reading defenses.

What is your favorite pregame meal? The night before all home games we have a team meal at a local restaurant. It is fun and creates great team unity. On away games the night before a game, I like to go to Smashburger with some of my teammates and have a Big BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with fried pickles and a chocolate Haagen Dazs shake. The day of the game I always get a foot long ham & cheese Subway sandwich.

To get focused for a game, I ... visualize myself and my team succeeding in the game, and go through my checklist of all my responsibilities before a game.

What is your most memorable moment as a high school athlete? Going to the state tournament in football my junior year (2011), and the state championship in basketball that same year.

If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be? I think high school sports are the greatest thing in the world, so I can't think of anything I would change except schools that recruit some of the top talent early on to get them to transfer to their school.

How do you balance school and sports during the year? I try my best to do my homework as soon as I get home from practice. After that is taken care of, I watch film to prepare for our next opponent.

Who is your favorite college or pro sports team and why? The Green Bay Packers, because I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I have loved the team ever since I can remember. I am convinced I am the biggest Packer fan in the world.

What is the best sports advice you ever received? To treat every game and practice as if it is your last because it will all be over in a blink of an eye.
