QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

What's your favorite basketball memory?

Tucker: Playing with 43 Hoops (AAU) for the last three years.

Cowels: Blake Hoffarber's shot vs. Eastview, and getting my first dunk in a game during the state tournament.

Berggren: Playing in the summer with the Howard Pulley (AAU) team.

Floyd: Getting eighth place in nationals in fifth grade.

Taylor: Meeting (Memphis guard) Chris Douglas-Roberts and LeBron James this past summer.

If you could trade places with anybody who does not play basketball, who would it be and why?

Tucker: Louis Taylor (Jordan's father). He is an extremely successful businessman, a loving father, a great husband. His Christian values are second to none.

Cowels: Will Smith, because he is the man in the movies and has plenty of money, or my dad. He is a hardworking musician in Chicago.

Berggren: I can't think of anybody.

Floyd: My mom, because I would like to see how hard she works and how dedicated she is to working.

Taylor: Louis Taylor, because he got knocked out by the tackling dummy on his first and only day of football.

What is your current most challenging class in school? Why?

Tucker: Sociology. There are a lot of concepts to memorize.

Cowels: Spanish 3 because it's a lot of memorization.

Berggren: Calculus.

Floyd: Anatomy. It's a lot of memorizing and interesting at the same time. I love learning how my body functions and works.

Taylor: Spanish 4, because it's a different language.

Is four classes of basketball the best thing for Minnesota?

Tucker: I personally would like to see one large class to determine the real state champion.

Cowels: There are too many state champions. There should be one state champion for the state of Minnesota.

Berggren: Big and small schools should be separate, but I think 2A could be combined with 1A.

Floyd: I think there should just be one big tourney with all the teams in one bracket. Then you will be able to see the best of the best play.

Taylor: I think the state tournament should be a 16-team format, with the four best teams from each class.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Tucker: Own a sports agent partnership with Jordan Taylor. Mike Floyd is our first client.

Cowels: Hopefully in the NBA with a business on the side, or I'll take playing basketball anywhere for money.

Berggren: Hopefully still playing basketball.

Floyd: Running my own business.

Taylor: Have a sports agent partnership with Anthony Tucker and have Mike Floyd as our first client.
