How many sports do you play? I play soccer, basketball and I run track.
Favorite? Whichever one I'm playing at the time.
How is the current soccer season going? It's going good. Right now, we're undefeated in the conference, and last week we beat Woodbury. That was a great feeling.
Is Woodbury your biggest rival? Playing Woodbury is always an energy boost. Whoever wins gets bragging rights. We're neighbors, so we know those girls from other activities and that's motivation to want to beat them.
What about the other district school, East Ridge? They're becoming a big rival. We always worry about our upcoming game first, but in the backs of our minds, we're thinking about Woodbury and East Ridge.
Your coach, Greg Juba, is renowned in soccer circles. Talk about playing for him. I started in eighth grade. He seemed intimidating, but now I see he would do anything for his players. Even if you don't like what he says, it makes you better because you know he truly cares.
Will you play soccer in college? Either soccer or track. I'll do something.
What do you do well in track? My best race is the 400 meters, even though I don't like it that much. The ending of a race is horrible. It's a full sprint and you're pushing yourself and you feel like your legs are going to give out. And the hardest part is not the race but preparing for it. My trainer is crazy, but I'm improving.
