What's your favorite basketball memory?

Hill: When my summer team, NC Heat, took third in nationals.

Boylan: This year. Chaska is going to state! The section final game against Kennedy is a memory I will never forget.

Mastey: Winning state last year and playing traveling basketball in sixth-eighth grade.

McSparron: Making it to the state tourney this year. Also this summer, playing in the Adidas Top Ten camp.

Nipe: Going to state freshman year and hanging out with the boys' and girls' teams, taking third in nationals at 15, and winning AAU state five years in a row.

Who is your favorite basketball player, and why?

Hill: Diana Taurasi and Allen Iverson because they are true ballplayers. They know the game and have basketball IQs.

Boylan: Kevin Garnett. He makes everyone around him play at a higher level and his passion and desire make him great.

Mastey: KG. He is just a great player.

McSparron: Steve Nash, because he can do everything and he makes everyone on his team look like a star.

Nipe: Tayler Hill because we've played together since fifth grade and I look up to her. Also, Michael Jordan because he's the best player to ever play and he's a good role model.

Would girls' basketball be better or worse with a shot clock? Explain.

Hill: It would be better because it gets girls ready for the college level.

Boylan: It would be better. The game would be faster-paced and would create much different end-of-game situations.

Mastey: Better. It would keep the game at a faster pace.

McSparron: Better, because it would speed up the game, making it more exciting.

Nipe: Better, because it would keep the game going and it prepares us for college.

What's your one-month record for text messages? And who do you text the most?

Hill: Thousands and thousands. I text my best friends (Mandy, Sandra, Megan and my boyfriend Bryce).

Boylan: Somewhere around 8,000. I text everyone and anyone.

Mastey: About 12,000 in a month, maybe a little more (my BFF Theairra Taylor).

McSparron: Thousands (C. Starr and friends).

Nipe: Thousands, probably. I text my best friends Hannah and Tayler the most, and my sisters.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Hill: Hopefully in the WNBA and finishing med school.

Boylan: I will either have a career in personal training or still will be playing basketball.

Mastey: I will have a good job that pays a lot and maybe be playing basketball.

McSparron: I will be coaching basketball after discovering a new medication to cure cancer.

Nipe: Hopefully be finishing med school.
