Wayzata synchronized swimming makes it six in row

Same result, different year. Wayzata won its sixth consecutive state synchronized swimming meet championship Friday as the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center with 155 points.

Stillwater finished in a familiar place as well, scoring 50 points and taking second for the sixth year in a row. Edina, Forest Lake and St. Louis Park rounded out the top five.

Wayzata freshman Amanda Urke was a perfect 4-for-4. with first-place finishes in the extended figures, extended solo, extended duet and extended team events.
