• MINNETONKA 85, BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S 71: The Class 4A, No. 3 Skippers (14-1) broke open a close game with a 22-7 run to start the second half and Anthony Tucker finished with 30 points in the nonconference victory over the 3A, No. 1 Red Knights (10-3) on Thursday night in St. Louis Park.
There were 11 lead changes in the first half, and Minnetonka led 40-36 at halftime. Tucker made five three-point shots and had 19 points in the half. Tucker and Tyler Schilling combined for 15 points in the Skippers' 22-7 run, which put them ahead 62-43 with 9:45 remaining.
Schilling and C.J. Erickson finished with 13 points for Minnetonka. Jordan Taylor led Benilde-St. Margaret's with 26, and Spencer Bata and Armond Battle each scored 16.

• BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 69, ARMSTRONG 52: The Falcons couldn't stop the Kennedy trio. Seniors Carlton Starr (25), Bobby Fong (21) and Alfred Jaryan (17) scored 63 of the Eagles' points in the nonconference victory over Class 4A, No. 8 Armstrong.
• CHAMPLIN PARK 83, CENTENNIAL 49: Junior guard Scott Theisen scored 22 of his 34 points in the first half when the Rebels opened an 18-point lead in their Northwest Suburban victory.
• HOPKINS 88, RICHFIELD 75: The Royals gradually wore out the Spartans with their depth. Juniors Trent Lockett (22) and Mike Broghammer (20) combined for 42 points for Class 4A, No. 1 Hopkins.
• HOWARD LAKE-WAVERLY-WINSTED 66, MAPLE LAKE 63: Keith Diers has a flair for the dramatic. Diers made a 30-foot three-pointer at the buzzer, lifting the Lakers over the Irish. Andy Hertwig made a three-pointer five seconds earlier that tied it for Maple Lake. On Tuesday, Diers' 20-foot three-pointer at the horn gave the Lakers a 58-56 victory over Pierz.
• PRINCETON 67, CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI 54: Senior center Jared Berggren had 26 points, and the Tigers pulled away from the Bluejackets in the second half in the Mississippi 8. Princeton outscored the Bluejackets 30-18 in the second half.
• ROCKFORD 89, PIERZ 73: Nick Haugen knows how to take over a game. The senior guard scored on six of Rockford's seven possessions at one point in the second half, leading the Class 2A, No. 2 Rockets past Pierz. Haugen finished with 34 points.
• WAYZATA 62, MINNEAPOLIS NORTH 40: The Trojans went to work on the glass. Class 4A, No. 5 Wayzata outrebounded the Polars 50-26 en route to a nonconference victory. Junior guard Jarrod Peterson paced the Trojans with 26 points.
• BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 53, LAKEVILLE NORTH 45: The Panthers couldn't keep pace with the Eagles in the second half in their Lake matchup. Bloomington Kennedy outscored the Panthers 36-28 following intermission after the two teams played to a first-half tie. Sophomore guard Shakila Boler had 18 points for the Eagles.
• PRINCETON 58, CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI 46: Junior Katie Loberg has the Tigers on the upswing. The 6-4 post scored 27 points as Princeton won its third consecutive game, beating the Bluejackets in the Mississippi 8. Loberg, coming off a 48-point performance Tuesday, has scored 124 points in her past four games.
• STILLWATER 69, HENRY SIBLEY 49: Taylor Stippel, a junior guard, scored 33 points, leading the Ponies past the Warriors in a nonconference game.
• ANOKA 5, ELK RIVER 3: Junior forward Berkley Scott scored the Tornadoes' first two goals and assisted on the last one in Northwest Suburban victory over the Elks. Sophomore forward Levi Lutz had two goals for Elk River.
• HILL-MURRAY 14, NORTH ST. PAUL 0: The Class 2A, No. 4 Pioneers had 12 different players score in the Classic Suburban victory over the Polars. Delaney Metcalf and Dan Sova each had four assists. Hill-Murray scored seven goals in the second period to build a 12-0 lead.
• WOODBURY 3, FOREST LAKE 2: Junior forward Tony Pittman scored three minutes, 36 seconds into overtime, lifting the Royals over the Rangers in the Suburban East. Woodbury's Ben Goff scored the tyign goal with 5 minutes, 9 seconds left.
• EASTVIEW 4, BURNSVILLE 0: Lightning sophomore goalie Lindsay Kauchick stopped all 26 shots she faced, shutting out the Blaze in the Lake. Senior forward Christine Fries had a goal and an assist in Eastview's three-goal second period.
• MAPLE GROVE 4, OWATONNA 0: Eighth-grader Taylor McKenney recorded a shutout in her second varsity start, making 25 saves as the Crimson beat the Huskies in nonconference play. Casey Hirsch and Ali Nelson each had a goal and an assist; Maple Grove scored all four goals in the second period.
• ROSEMOUNT 1, LAKEVILLE SOUTH 0: Amy Price scored the lone goal as the Irish shut out the Cougars in the Lake Conference game. Junior goalie Megan Haley recorded the shutout, stopping 23 shots.
• TOTINO-GRACE 5, COOPER 2: Senior forward Gillian Schack had a pure hat trick in the second period, leading the Eagles past Cooper in the North Suburban. Freshman Caroline Ponessa scored Totino-Grace's first two goals.
