BOYS' HOCKEY

Skippers rally to win

• MINNETONKA 5, WAYZATA 1: For only the second time this season, The Class 2A, No. 1-ranked Skippers experienced an unfamiliar feeling on Thursday when the game's first goal went to Wayzata in the first period. It was only the second time this season Minnetonka did not hold a lead or tie following the first period. The Skippers rebounded with two second-period goals and three more in the third to run away from No. 9-ranked Wayzata. Senior forward Sam Rothstein led Minnetonka with a pair of goals, and junior forward Vinni Lettieri added two assists.

BOYS' BASKETBALL

Meyer lifts Totino

• TOTINO-GRACE 57, COLUMBIA HEIGHTS 56: Totino-Grace senior guard Sam Meyer connected on a pair of free throws with 14 seconds to play, lifting the Eagles in the North Suburban.

• IRONDALE 65, ST. FRANCIS 64: The Knights rallied from 11 points down with four minutes to play in the North Suburban tilt. Senior guard Mark Stasson completed the Irondale comeback with his game- winning drive and shot in the lane with 10 seconds remaining.

GIRLS' BASKETBALL

• FRIDLEY 55, ST. LOUIS PARK 52 (OT): Senior forward Rachel Duehn rallied the Tigers late, scoring seven of her 13 points in overtime, including the game winner at the buzzer. Freshman center Abigail Olson scored a season-high 25 points for St. Louis Park.
