6-3½, senior, middle blocker

Has steadily developed into a star. Headed to University of Cincinnati. Named to All-Metro second team as a junior. Four-year starter was No. 2 in metro kills.

AMY BRAUN

LAKEVILLE NORTH

5-10, junior, outside hitter

Fabulous court sense, fabulous athlete. Versatility is clear in her stats: She ranked fifth in metro kills and seventh in digs.

JESSICA MENDEN

SHAKOPEE

5-8, senior,

setter

Terrific floor leader, agile and smart, she had 702 set assists in regular season. Was a second-team selection last season. Will play at Texas Christian.

Great floor sense, hits the ball over blocks very well. Part of one of the best teams in 3A.

JESSICA GRANQUIST

BLAINE

5-8, senior, outside hitter

Named second-team All-Metro in 2006. Strong in the backcourt as well as at the net. Led team in kills, digs and serve receptions. Will play for Gophers.

BRITTANY CHAMBERS

JORDAN

5-9, junior, outside hitter

Explosive hitter led metro in kills, is a great digger and has a jump serve to die for. Second-team All-Metro a year ago.
