CLASS 5A

SECTION 3

• EASTVIEW 34, APPLE VALLEY 13: Senior quarterback Corey Eul only completed two passes, but both went for touchdowns and he also ran for a score as the Lightning rolled past the crosstown rival Eagles on Friday night. Eul threw a 43-yard scoring strike to Dan Edem and a 20-yard pass to Trever Sutherland. Eul scored on a 5-yard run in the second quarter. The Lightning defense intercepted three passes.

SECTION 4

• CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 53, TARTAN 32: The Raiders can score with the best of them. Cretin-Derham Hall scored 46 points in the first half in downing the Titans. Shady Salamon and Michael Floyd each scored four touchdowns for the Raiders. Salamon scored on runs of 3, 10, 1 and 6 yards. Tartan quarterback Marc Sonnen ran for two touchdowns and threw for another.

CLASS 4A

SECTION 1

• NEW PRAGUE 42, NORTHFIELD 36: Senior quarterback Tim Stepka scored on a 6-yard run in overtime as the Trojans rallied to knock off the Raiders. New Prague's defense stopped Northfield on the first possession of overtime, and the Raiders missed a field goal. New Prague tied it midway through the fourth quarter on Nick Zweber's third touchdown, a 15-yard interception return.

SECTION 2

• WACONIA 14, MANKATO WEST 7: Senior quarterback Dillon Hackbarth threw two touchdown passes in the third quarter, lifting the Wildcats over the Scarlets. He opened the scoring with a 9-yard touchdown pass to senior tight end Mike Frey and hooked up with senior running back Austin Schwartz on a 6-yard scoring play. The game was scoreless in the third quarter when Mankato West faked a punt and failed to pick up a first down. Waconia marched down the field for its first score. The Scarlets then fumbled away the ensuing kickoff and Waconia quickly made it 14-0.

SECTION 4

MAHTOMEDI 42, CHISAGO LAKES 34: Bross Sivertson ran for the Zephyrs' final three touchdowns in a wild victory over the Wildcats. Sivertson scored on runs of 34, 1 and 9 yards. Chisago Lakes' Jon Lien ran for a 46-yard touchdown and also returned a kickoff 97 yards for another score.

CLASS 3A

SECTION 2

LESUEUR-HENDERSON 26, WASECA 0: Senior running back Joe Savage ran for three touchdowns, and the Giants defense shut out the Bluejays. Savage, who rushed for 81 yards on 14 carries, scored on runs of 4, 1 and 25 yards. LeSueur-Henderson rushed for 282 yards and threw for 79. The Giants fumbled away the opening kickoff, but their defense quickly set the tone by getting the ball back on downs.

SECTION 3

GLENCOE-SILVER LAKE 27, DASSEL-COKATO 6: The Panthers rolled up 281 yards rushing, including senior quarterback Matt Muenchow's 75-yard scamper to open the scoring, in grinding out a victory over the Chargers. Senior halfback Dusty Jurek scored on runs of 5 and 9 yards as Glencoe-Silver Lake scored all 27 points before Dassel-Cokato got on the board late.

SECTION 4

DELASALLE 61, CONCORDIA (ROSEVILLE) 47: Jeremy Randle ran for four touchdowns and Michael Van Leer threw for four as the Islanders outscored the Beacons. Randle rushed for 246 yards on 17 carries.
