6.94 lbs Largemouth - Caught by John Pozarski

The 34th annual Viking Invitational was once again a great success. This year 59 teams weighed-in and 45 of those teams had limits! This year at the Viking invitational, we had one of the largest bass weighed in at a tournament on lake minnetonka. A 6.94 lbs largemouth was weighed in by team Pozarski!! We also had one of the best limits in Viking history for 19.77lbs caught by team Jung.

34th Annual Viking Invitational Bass Tournament - Lake Minnetonka

The tournament is scheduled for October 3rd, 2010 out of Maynard's restaurant in Excelsior, MN on Lake Minnetonka. A pre-tournament meeting will be held at Maynards at 7:30am the morning of the tournament.

Each year the Viking Bassmasters of Minnesota hosts an invitational which all proceeds are donated to the community. Last year we brought in over $1000 to donate to a local youth fishing club. We have a max capacity of 80 boats that we fill almost every year. This is a fun tournament for serious tournament guys and amateurs alike. We pay out for big bass and big pike and the top ten teams will receive a trophy. We do accept same day registration that is on a first come first serve basis. Same day registration will open at 6am at Maynard’s on October 3rd.
