Ryan Ramacher is an avid walleye angler who competes in the Minnesota Tournament Trail with his wife, Nikki. They are one of the few husband and wife teams in the MTT. They enjoy competitive sports and have found tournament fishing to be an enjoyable way of spending time together.
Josh Nelson is an avid fly fisherman, mostly for trout and salmon, but he enjoys the occasional panfish and smallie bite, as well. He is the habitat chair for the Twin Cities chapter of Trout Unlimited.

In 1968, Sue married Bruce Kerfoot and moved from Chicago to the Gunflint Trail. They have run the Gunflint Lodge since then. As a novice northwoods resident, she has spent much of that time absorbing the rhythms of the local people and the nature world that make up the Gunflint Trail.
After being a successful, avid fisherman for years, Brian Jaroszewski started professionally guiding on the St. Croix River to share his techniques and tips. He won several local tournaments, including the 2007 Beanie's River Rat Tournament with 110 competing boats.
