Lake Country Sportsmen Tournament was held Sunday, June 14th, which produced some really nice fish.  Chris Roehl and Fred Sanchez had the winning weight with 6 fish at 17 lbs. 7 oz.  Second place went to the team of Chad Friedereichs and Luke Kavanagh with a catch of 6 fish weighing in at 17 lbs.

Largest fish caught was 5 lbs 13 oz. by the 3rd place team of Fiskum and Keller.

Otter Tail Lake and other area lakes continue to produce walleyes.  Jig and minnow combination and a crawler, leech presntation with a spinner, are working well in 10 to 25 feet of water.  Water temps are continuing to rise and the panfish bite is starting to hit on smaller lakes.

Ken's Tackle still has spot tail shiners and also redtail chubs.   Check our our guide services for a great time on the lake.  We hope we can host you in the Battle Lake area soon!
