"The I Can Climb! programs at Taylors Falls are always the first to fill, but they're not as dramatic as the ones at Blue Mounds State Park. And nothing in the state compares to climbing Shovel Point at Tettegouche State Park. I've climbed in 12 states and have 28 years of experience in the climbing business, and I can honestly say Shovel Point is one of the most scenic places I've ever experienced. Where else can you sit on a 170-foot ledge, with your feet dangling, looking out over Lake Superior and Palisade Head. It's pretty awesome."
