Decoys, decoys and more waterfowl decoys will be at the Minnesota Decoy Collectors Association's annual decoy show this week at the Ramada Mall of America in Bloomington. Decoys, old and new, are bought, sold and traded -- or sometimes just admired.

There will be decorative decoys, antique factory decoys, modern working decoys and antique carved decoys and other wildlife art and collectables.

ScheduleWednesday and Thursday: 2 to 10 p.m., hotel room-to-room trading, open to the public.

Friday: 1 to 9 p.m., with a 6 p.m. decoy auction. $15 membership fee includes family admission.

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., open to public.

Waterfowl symposiumIn conjunction with the decoy show, the Minnesota Waterfowl Association holds its 16th annual waterfowl symposium from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Ramada. The symposium is free and open to the public, but limited seating is available.

This year's symposium feature species will be wood ducks, with presentations by leading waterfowl and wetland experts.

Other programs will address the current status of waterfowl populations, hunting regulations, species management problems, decoys, volunteer opportunities and the future of waterfowl hunting recruitment and retention.

The association's awards banquet begins at 5:30 p.m.
