The DNR is holding public meetings around the state to discuss simplifying the deer hunting regulations.
To see the 13-member citizen committee report and recommendations, go to www.startribune.com/a4057. If you can't attend any of the meetings, you can e-mail comments to wildlife@dnr.state.mn.us.
Here is the list of meetings:
• March 5: Deer River, 7-9 p.m., Morse Town Hall, 32775 Hwy. 46.
• March 6: Aurora, 6-9 p.m., Aurora Community Center, 15 West 1st Av. N.
• March 6: St. Paul, 7-9 p.m., DNR/MPCA Cafeteria, 500 Lafayette Road.
• March 10: Hutchinson, 7-9 p.m., Room 141 of Ridgewater College, 2 Century Av. SE.
• March 11: Winona, 7-9 p.m., Elks Club, 4540 Service Drive.
• March 12: Watson, 7-9 p.m., Lac qui Parle Wildlife Management Area headquarters, 14047 20th St. NW.
• March 13: Park Rapids, 7-9 p.m., Century School Cafeteria, 501 Helten Av.
• March 13: Mora, 7-9 p.m., Mora Public Library, 200 Maple Av. W.
• March 25: Thief River Falls, 7-9 p.m., Northland Community College Auditorium.
