Bio: In his fourth NHL season, McDonagh has blossomed with the New York Rangers. An outstanding defender, he is on pace for his best offensive season and is asserting himself as a leader as well. McDonagh can play plenty of minutes in all situations and impressed the Olympic selection committee early in the process. He was Minnesota’s Mr. Hockey in 2007 and led Cretin-Derham Hall to a state title as a junior.
