Lynx at a glance: Minnesota (14-18), which has lost seven consecutive road games, is in a must-win situation to make the playoffs, after San Antonio beat Sacramento 80-71 Thursday night. The Silver Stars (15-18) need only to win their final game Saturday or to have the Lynx lose either one of their last two games to qualify for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. ... The Lynx are coming off an emotional 75-72 victory over Detroit on Wednesday at home. With Nicky Anosike (knee) out for the second game in a row, the Lynx shared the ball as well as a team can. Six players had from 10 to 12 points.

Sparks at a glance: Los Angeles (16-16) will honor retiring center Lisa Leslie in her final regular-season home game. The Sparks are 15-3 all-time vs. the Lynx at Staples Center. and 2-1 vs. Minnesota this season; in their last meeting on Aug. 19, the host Sparks won 78-63 behind the 6-5 Leslie's season-high 28 points. She was 13-for-15 from the field. Leslie averages 15.8 points. Candace Parker, a 6-4 forward, leads the WNBA in double-doubles with 12, rebounding (9.2 per game) and blocks (1.95).
