All the unbeaten Lynx do is win awards. Here's another:

Maya Moore, who won Western Conference player or the week honors a couple weeks back, was just named by the WNBA as Western Conference player of the month. This is getting old, really. Moore has won the last three such awards, being named for August and September of last season.

This is the sixth time a Lynx player has won player of the month honors, a list that includes Lindsay Whalen (August of 2011), Seimone Augustus (July 2011) and Rebekkah Brunson (June 2011). Moore, meanwhile, has won five of the last eight player of the month/player of the week awards.

Moore started the season by scoring 30 or more points in the first four games, becoming the first WNBA player to do so in four straight games. Moore ranks first in the league in scoring (27.6), ninth in rebounding (8.9), 12th in field goal percentage (51.5) and first in three-pointers made (20).

The Lynx play at Seattle Friday.

Chicago's Elena Delle Donne won the award for the Eastern Conference.
