lynx gameday

3:30 P.M. at San Antonio • AT&T Center • 106.1-FM

Lynx update: The Lynx get a rematch of Friday's victory at Target Center, and it is an important game, given the schedule. This game is the first of four consecutive games on the road — the team's longest road stretch of the season — and three of those games are against teams that were in the playoffs last season (Seattle, Los Angeles and Atlanta). F Maya Moore scored 25 points Friday; she has scored at least 25 in five of six games. PG Lindsay Whalen has averaged 21 points her past three games. G Seimone Augustus has averaged 18.0 points in her past four games. Rookie F/C Damiris Dantas scored a career-high 17 points on 7-for-10 shooting Friday. F Devereaux Peters made her season debut after missing the first five games following knee surgery, playing three-plus minutes. She should play more Sunday.

Stars update: The Stars hit on 14 of 28 three-pointers Friday, with five players hitting two or more, led by Jia Perkins, who hit four of seven on the way to 15 points. Rookie G Kayla McBride was held to nine points on 3-for-9 shooting with three turnovers after scoring 30 points in her previous game. The 3-3 Stars have won both games at home, both against Tulsa. The Stars shot just 36.7 percent and turned the ball over 11 times in the second half of Friday's loss.
