Lynx at a glance

Despite a season-high 29 points from Seimone Augustus, who reached 4,000 career points, the Lynx (17-6) fell to Tulsa on Friday for their third consecutive loss. The Lynx face another losing team in the New York Liberty. The Lynx, second in the league in field-goal percentage defense, allowed the Shock to shoot 58 percent from the field in the first half. Reducing defensive miscues could be key for the Lynx to end their losing streak.

Liberty at a glance

New York (10-14) is second to last in the Eastern Conference, but if the Liberty can make three-pointers, they could give the Lynx trouble. The Liberty average 35 percent shooting from long range, the highest in the WNBA. They are also the league's best rebounding team, averaging 38 rebounds per game to the Lynx's 37.82. If Rebekkah Brunson (knee) can't play for the Lynx, the Liberty could dominate the boards. Brunson, who averages a team-high nine rebounds, missed Friday's game.
