Lynx head to Indiana for next test

Last update: May 7, 2008 - 12:00 AM

The Lynx will play the Indiana Fever tonight in Indianapolis in the team's second of three exhibition games.

Minnesota beat Connecticut 61-53 at the Target Center on May 1 behind two rookie guards. Candice Wiggins, the No. 3 pick in the WNBA draft this year, had 18 points, and Brittney Vaughn, a free agent from Arkansas, had 14 points.

It is uncertain whether Wiggins will play tonight. She strained a muscle in her right calf on Saturday and was limited to watching practice on Tuesday. Her status is day to day.

Three veterans reported to training camp this week after playing overseas: center Vanessa Hayden-Johnson and forwards Nicole Ohlde and Tiffany Stansbury.

Guard Seimone Augustus is expected to join the team Thursday.

Indiana lost its first exhibition game to the Chicago Sky 81-71 on Saturday.
