Preview: The Lynx are in the second game of a four-game homestand that sets them up for playing six of their final seven games on the road. If recent history is any indication of success, the Lynx stand as good a chance with Tulsa as any team, having handily defeated the Shock four times already this season.
Lynx at a glance: Minnesota has seven victories in a row, but the most recent didn't come easy. After fighting through a rough and sloppy first half Tuesday against San Antonio, the Lynx gave away a nine-point fourth quarter lead, recovering only enough to win in overtime. Still, the 20-4 squad would like to see some better starts, as a trend, to avoid such late-game dramatics. On Tuesday, Rebekkah Brunson set a franchise record for most rebounds in a game (20).
Shock at a glance: Tulsa got a much-needed boost Tuesday, with its second victory in the past three games to move out of last place in the Western Conference. Otherwise, life is kind of rough in Tulsa right now. The 5-19 Shock has lost six games in the closing seconds of regulation or overtime this season.
