Lynx at a glance: The Lynx (13-2) are coming off their second loss of the season, 93-84 on Sunday at San Antonio. They are 8-1 in games after a defeat going back to the start of last season. ... Center Taj McWilliams-Franklin is second in the league with 21 blocks, but L.A.'s Candace Parker is far ahead with 41. ... After trailing by nine points midway through the third quarter, the Lynx rallied to beat the Sparks 92-84 on May 24 at Target Center.
Sparks at a glance: Los Angeles (10-6) has lost three games in a row, two to San Antonio. Opponents have averaged 92 points in those losses. ... Parker was the Western Conference's player of the month in June when the 6-4 forward averaged 18.8 points and 10.2 rebounds. But she sat out the Sparks' last victory because of a sore knee and had two points and three rebounds two games ago.
