Lynx at a glance: Seimone Augustus has scored only 14 and 12 points in the two games since her return from a strained right quadriceps; she has dropped to ninth (17 points per game) in league scoring. ... The Lynx are outscoring opponents by an average of a WNBA-high 12.6 points. ... Forward Rebekkah Brunson is fourth in the league in rebounding (7.9) and third in shooting percentage (57.1) among regulars.
Liberty at a glance: New York has had a volatile season. Last Friday the Liberty (4-7) lost by a franchise-record 42 points at Connecticut. But Tuesday, New York shot a season-high 50.8 percent in winning 73-60 at Atlanta. ... Guard Cappie Pondexter had 14 points and 13 assists against the Dream and reached the 4,000-point milestone. She is averaging 18.3 points in her seventh pro season. ... Forward Plenette Pierson, second on the team in scoring at 11.2 points, missed the last game with a nagging right leg injury.
