THE TOP DRAFT PROSPECTS

The Star Tribune's Roman Augustoviz takes a look at the players expected to be taken with the first four picks of the 2012 WNBA draft. A lottery determined the order of teams' picks:

NNEMKADI OGWUMIKE, STANFORD, 6-2 FORWARD

Led the Cardinal to four Final Fours, named AP first-team All-America, averaged 22.5 points and 10.2 rebounds. Los Angeles is expected to take her with first overall pick

SHENISE JOHNSON, MIAMI (FLA.), 5-11 GUARD

Player of year in ACC. She led the conference in steals, free-throw shooting and assist-to-turnover ratio. Seattle will probably take her with the second pick.

SHEKINNA STRICKLEN, TENNESSEE, 6-2 FORWARD/GUARD

Named AP third-team All-America. Can play any position. Averaged 15.4 points, 6.6 rebounds. The Lynx could draft her or teammate Glory Johnson with third pick

GLORY JOHNSON, TENNESSEE, 6-3 FORWARD

Southeast Conference's defensive player of year, she averaged 14.2 points, 9.9 rebounds and shot 53.8 percent from the field. Tulsa has the fourth overall pick and likely will take whoever falls to them between Stricklen and Glory Johnson.
