• No. 15 MICHIGAN 83, CREIGHTON 76 (OT): Manny Harris had 20 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds to lead the Wolverines (3-0) over the Bluejays (2-2) on Thursday.
"Not disrespecting the other two teams we played, but that was kind of our first challenge," Harris said.
After Harris made two free throws with 5.7 seconds left to put Michigan up 69-67, Antoine Young forced overtime on a last-second layup, but Harris had a three-point play and a dunk in OT, then picked up an assist on Zack Novak's three-pointer that made it 79-73.
• MARQUETTE 71, XAVIER 61: Lazar Hayward scored 27 points and Jimmy Butler added 15 to help the Golden Eagles (5-0) beat the Musketeers (3-1). Marquette scored 25 points off 20 Xavier turnovers.

• SAN DIEGO 76, No. 25 OKLAHOMA 64: Brandon Johnson scored 18 of his 22 points in the first half, then his teammates took over as the Toreros (3-1) beat the Sooners (2-2) in the first round of the Great Alaska Shootout in Anchorage. It was the second loss in five days for the Sooners, who lost to Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday night. "We're not a very good team right now," Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel said.
• No. 5 KENTUCKY 73, STANFORD 65 (OT): Freshman sensation John Wall scored a season-best 23 points, including clutch shots in the final minute that sent the game to overtime, and the Wildcats (6-0) closed with an eight-point run to beat the Cardinal (3-3) in the championship game of the Cancun Challenge.
• GONZAGA 61, CINCINNATI 59 (OT): Robert Sacre scored 14 points and the Bulldogs (5-1) won the Maui Invitational for the first time in three tries, beating the Bearcats (4-0) in overtime. "Obviously, this is the pinnacle and the creme de la creme of all the preseason tournaments," Gonzaga coach Mark Few said.
• No. 5 NOTRE DAME 84, No. 23 SAN DIEGO STATE 79: Freshman Skyler Diggins scored 21 points at the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands to give coach Muffet McGraw her 500th victory with the Irish (4-0) and 588th overall. The Aztecs (3-1) fell behind by 21 points in the first half.
• No. 9 XAVIER 76, No. 18 KANSAS 71: Amber Harris had 22 points and nine rebounds to help the Musketeers (4-0) beat the Jayhawks (3-1) at the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas.
• No. 13 TEXAS 73, No. 19 MISSISSIPPI STATE 55: Ashleigh Fontenette scored 20 points, going 9-for-10 from the floor as the Longhorns (3-1) beat the Lady Bulldogs (4-1) in the Paradise Jam.
• No. 15 VIRGINIA 84, INDIANA 79: Monica Wright had 22 points and 11 rebounds to help the Cavaliers (4-1) beat the Hoosiers (3-2) at the Junkanoo Jam. Jori Davis had 33 points for Indiana.
• No. 20 OKLAHOMA 75, SOUTH CAROLINA 67: The Sooners (3-1) used a second-half surge to hold off the Gamecocks (2-2) at the Paradise Jam.
