MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Dwight Dasher threw for two touchdowns and 219 yards to spark Middle Tennessee to a 34-17 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday after trailing by three points at halftime.

The Blue Raiders (7-3, 5-1 Sun Belt) sacked Chris Masson five times, one more sack than the Ragin' Cajuns (5-5, 3-3) had allowed in their first nine games.

Dasher, who completed 16 of 25 passes, led Middle Tennessee to scores on four of their seven drives in the second half. He ran his season total to 2,248 yards to set a school record for a junior.

D.D. Kyles rushed 20 times for 177 of the Blue Raiders' 287 rushing yards.

Louisiana-Lafayette took a 17-14 lead 9 seconds before halftime when Masson connected with Vernon Wolfe in the back of the end zone for a 7-yard score, capping a nine-play, 72-yard drive that took 1:03.

Masson was 25-for-43 for 220 yards and a touchdown.
