NEW YORK - JB Clark's 22-yard pass to DeVaughn Gordon with 3:34 remaining in the third quarter, the only score of the second half, lifted Lehigh over Fordham 35-28 on Saturday.
The pair connected for three touchdowns for the Mountain Hawks (3-7, 3-2 Patriot League). The first two, for 7 and 39 yards, came after the Rams (4-6, 1-4) took seven-point leads. Jay Campbell rushed for 155 yards on 27 carries for Lehigh.
John Skelton threw three touchdown passes to David Moore for Fordham in the first half, including a 15-yarder 50 seconds before halftime to make it 28-28.
Skelton completed 28 of 45 passes for 386 yards. Moore had 141 yards on nine catches and Jason Caldwell had 128 yards on 10 catches.
Fordham's deepest penetration in the second half, to the Lehigh 6, ended in a blocked field goal. Skelton was intercepted at the Fordham 45 by Jarard Cribbs with 3:03 remaining.
