JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Josh McGregor threw three touchdown passes, sparking 36 unanswered Jacksonville points as the Dolphins crushed Butler 36-7 on Saturday.
McGregor was 10-for-19 with 157 yards and rushed for 26 yards for the Dolphins (6-4, 5-2 Pioneer Football League). Rudell Small added 103 yards and a score on 18 carries.
Butler struck first, going up 7-0 on Andrew Huck's 7-yard pass to Dan Bohrer midway through the second quarter.
It would also be the last time the Bulldogs saw the end zone.
McGregor connected with Chris Kuck from 10 yards out and Joshua Philpart on a 42-yard pass, putting Jacksonville up 14-7 at halftime.
McGregor threw a 5-yard TD pass to Kuck, Small had a 54-yard TD run and Bryan Valdez returned an interception 42 yards to seal Jacksonville's win in the third quarter.
Huck had 220 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for Butler (9-1, 6-1).
