McGregor throws 3 touchdown passes, leads Jacksonville to 49-20 win over Valparaiso

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Josh McGregor threw three touchdown passes and Jacksonville beat Valparaiso 49-20 on Saturday.

McGregor went 16-for-24 for 305 yards. He threw touchdown passes of 12 yards to Josh Philpart, 11 yards to Chris Kuck and 11 yards to Rodney Sumter. McGregor spread the ball to 10 different receivers.

The Dolphins (5-4, 4-2, Pioneer Football League) piled up 581 yards of total offense. Rudell Small added 157 yards rushing and two touchdowns. He scored on runs of 1 and 57 yards.

Nate Goergen led the Crusaders (1-8, 0-6) with 261 passing yards and two touchdowns.

After Nick Jones scored on a 2-yard run to pull the Crusaders to within 14-13, the Dolphins scored 28 straight points to put the game out of reach.

The Dolphins have won three of their past four games.
