Jason Myers' last-second field goal propels Marist past Georgetown 23-21

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Jason Myers kicked a 37-yard field goal with 1 second remaining to give Marist a 23-21 win over Georgetown on Saturday.

Trailing by six points, Georgetown quarterback Scott Darby threw a 68-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Floyd to give the Hoyas a 21-20 lead with 54 seconds left.

But the Red Foxes (6-3, 4-2 Pioneer Football League) drove 56 yards in the final 49 seconds to setup Myers for his game-winning field goal, denying the Hoyas (0-9, 0-5) their first win of the season.

Marist was led by Ryan Dinnebeil, who rushed for 79 yards and three touchdowns. James LaMacchia added 105 yards receiving on seven catches.

Darby was 31-for-57 passing for 289 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for Georgetown.
